Kayseri, is an important central Anatolian city founded on the main trade route from East to West.
Kayseri is located at the skirts of the extinct volcano Mount Erciyes that dominates the city and surrounds from a height of 3916 meters. From historical point, the city prides itself with a rich history dating especially from the Seljuk period.
Being close to Cappadocia it benefits from the main stream of tourists to the region, Mount Erciyes as a trekking and alpinism center, Zamantı River as a rafting center, the historic sites of Kültepe, Ağırnas, Talas and Develi, to name a few. Kayseri is served by Erkilet International Airport.
